The Wedding!

We finished setting up the wedding tonight! Everything looks so great, we are really pleased. We had no clue how wonderfully things would tie together, but it's just fantastic.

We had so much fun setting up tonight and it was extra special that we were both able to be there. The bride loved everything and her parents and family could not have been more thrilled. These are the days that make it all worth it!

We wish the happy couple all the best tomorrow and always!

Nearly finished.

It looks like the wedding centerpieces are nearly done. Our design looks a bit different from the original prototype, but we want to wait until they are finished to post final photo.

We will have our flowers all over this wedding and we are so excited. I'm currently creating some business cards to have available and a few signs so people know who we are while Carin begins the final set of flowers. We are hoping to put another session together where we can put the final touches on just before the wedding and Carin will be in charge of the actual set up that day.

We can't wait to show you these new creations and we are already talking about what's next for us.

For A Wedding

Centerpiece for an upcoming wedding. We are planning to make 20 of these for the reception tables. We will be back to post more pics as we get closer to a finished product, but we are loving this so far!

Elegant Baby Shower

We are nearly finished with our baby shower centerpieces and wanted to take a little time to put up a picture of what they are looking like so far. We are really happy with how they are turning out and excited to show them to the "mommy-to-be."

Our First Job

This week we are heading into new and very exciting territory. We just recieved our first real order and we couldn't be more thrilled. We have to thank a very good friend for getting our name out all the way to California. The job is for 5 ceterpeices for an elegant baby shower. Our colors are kiwi green, brown, and cream, and we are using a few different patterns in the flowers. There will be 5 flowers per bouquet with 4 being the base colors and the fifth in the center to be pink or blue depending on what the baby is going to be. Of course, we'll be finding that out shortly. Our theme will somehow need to incorperate music notes or sheet music as well. Our client has also offered to place our cards around the tables for us to advertise and I can't tell you how much that could really help us. With a little luck this could really be the spring board for our baby business to grow!

The Beginning

Creative Expectations is up and running! A lot of prep work has gone into this and it feels great to have a finished product. Carin and I are so proud of our flowers and we want the world to see them and love having them. All of our flowers are hand made and they are constantly evolving every day. We have some really great ideas for some new designs we'll be working on so if you like what you see, please check back soon and see what's new!
